Hmm, I think I would have opted for a mechanical solution. That is perhaps not as luxurious for using the plow, but less vulnerable and cheaper. I mean, with that thing you can't winch 3 tons anway, since its much too light. But at least you can pull yourself out of some swamp hole or so with that. Of course it would be better not to drive into one in the first place... :)
