Is this in India? I can imagine, the Covid restrictions have had a huge impact on certain customs there. Like weddings are usually a huge festivity (if the people can afford it), but with only a handful of guests this is not possible. It must be a whole industry being paralyzed.
Well, its similar all over the world. Here its Christmas soon, but only a few people from 2 households are allowed to celebrate together. No Christmas vacations either, of course. No New Year parties, too. So all we can do is stay at home and get drunk, I guess.
