That is a 1935 Chrysler C6 Airstream Sedan.
It took a while, but I think I found it again:

Truely remarkable the Art Deco design of the grill. Art Deco was the big thing then, especially for Chrysler. Their company HQ in NYC, also built in the early 30s, is one of the great icons of Art Deco architecture:

Can you see the similarity of the thin chrome lines on the car and the lines on the building? And on the builing there are ornaments that look like large chromed wheel caps and bonnet figures.
