Ist ja klar, die Imigranten sind schuld. :) Hast Du auch mal nachgesehen ob Deine Termiten gelbe Füße haben? Eigentlich ist es nicht so erstaunlich, das man die nur schwer loswird. Denn es gibt sie schon

Exactly. Moorhens may look a bit funny, but they have strong legs and big feet with claws, much like a domestic chicken. And they know how to use them. The duck didn't want to find out how and quickly

Well, this had to be expected. I said it numerous times around here: if someone thinks that the powers that are in control of the monetary system will just sit idle and watch how they lose that control,

RE: Feathered Friends "Bird In Black" Contest Entry, Round 13
It's a difficult one indeed. But from the head, beak and size I would go for raven. And not all ravens have this diamond shaped tail. Anyway, a amazing bird. Strange that some people dislike them.

Well, the one that sits on the roof looks quite big, compared to the roof tiles. Crows are usually not so big, just a bit bigger than pigeons. There is a pair of crows that visits my bird feeder every

True, but the bill looks more raven like to me. How big was it? Ravens have a wing span of 4 ft. and sit over 1 ft tall. Quiet impressive birds. Crows are a bit smaller and have a thinner, straighter bill.

I don't think this is a crow, it appears to be a common raven (Corvus Corax). Really beautiful birds and highly intelligent, real characters. They can even learn to speak - a little bit. And they play

Yes, if they could talk, they could tell some stories... Around 1900 a quarter was a lot of money - you could get a complete breakfast for that. Sure, I've seen the Hive price, and Steem too. God knows

Well, I guess for collectors they are too worn off, so its just the silver value. No wonder, since some are more than 100 years old and have been used in daily life.

RE: Local Coin Shop Find 3/25/2021
Well, actually, if a silver quarter costs $6 as you say, a ounce of fine silver costs about $34. I guess you could might as well buy some 2nd hand Maple Leafs or so for the same price. And then you have
