Yesterday, I started the process of building a new bow. Today, I want to share some of my progress.
I started off by cutting out the rough shape of the handle with a jig saw.
Now that the rough shape is cut out, I can begin the tedious rasping and filing to get the handle to fit my hand perfectly. Its a slow process when done by hand, but the result is amazing.
Here's about 30 minutes of that process sped up 10脳 to give you an idea of how it looks.
I still have a few more hours of work to get the handle how I want it, but here's what it looks like so far.
