Ok, not really "Dome Day". It was more "Chores and then domes day." after a late~ish start to the day.
After a rare two hour sleep in and breakfast discussing our plan of action for the day and deciding we had an extra day to get stuff done next week; I gave in to my urge to to make more domes.
I'm in love with the domes.
Out of all the new molds I've gotten this year the pointed dome is my favourite.
The shape, the size, how it looks and how easy it is to polish makes it an ideal mold for orgonites.
One of the reasons I pushed for today's pour was so I could see how the other pigments would turn out.
Out of the 9 new colours I've tried Ruby Red, Supra Blue, Shocking Pink and now Bright Orange, Bright Purple, Kelly Green and Emerald.
Here's a 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ moment.
I can't figure out which green is which.
Gotta say it again... These PSTF pigments are 👌🔥👌. Vibrant pigments and the clarity... 🔥
I used two drops of pigments for each one just to see how far two drops would go and it came out beautifully.
I like the orange one the best even though this night shot isn't doing it justice. The orange of the pigment and the copper swarf goes so well together.
That said I think I'll try steel swarf next time instead of copper to see what it looks like. I might also mix pigments and pigment colours to see if I can get a teal and coral. Of course there's still the Aztec Gold and Grey to try out...
It's a never ending adventure really.
Which dome do you like best?
