Seasons Greetings HIVERS
A new season is approaching as we can see signs of spring. A common question that is usually asked of students during this time is "What's your favorite Season?"
Spring πΌ
Here in Japan many people enjoy spring because they can have picnics under the cherry trees for a few weeks at the start of the season. Sakura (cherry blossom) mark the start of the school π« year. It is common to see class pictures taken with cherry blossoms in the background. The temperature this time of year is usually just right, not too hot and not too cold.
Summer π
People, especially students, tend to like summer because of the longer holidays. Summer is marked by traditional festivals, fireworks and going to the beach or pool. At this time of the year water attractions and them parks are very crowded.
Autumn/Fall π
You canβt really have an appreciation for fall until youβve experienced the viewing of the leaves of multicolored trees swaying in the wind. Red, orange, yellow, brown mixed with green. Like spring, this season is not too hot and not too cold.
Winter βοΈ β
With the colder temperatures in winter sports like skiing, snowboarding π and ice skating are common. Christmas and the New Year are also two of the highlights of winter. Illuminated city streets and shopping malls decorated with Christmas trees
