Good morning Hivers,
Over the weekend we took a trip to Awaji Island by car. From my previous posts you will recall that the main gateway to the Island is the 3991m long Akashi Bridge. The towers of the bridge are 300metres high similar to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Check out the video of our over 3-minute drive across the bridge. In addition here is a list of places you may find interesting on the island.
Places of Interest on the Island
England Hill- Found in the middle of the island, this nature theme park has animals and seasonal flowers.
Hanasajiki Park
This park is located at the top of a hill overlooking the sea. The grass is always green and there a fields of seasonal flowers.
Onokoro Park
The theme park features rides and miniature replicas of famous places around the world.
Hello Kitty Museum
If you are a Hello Kitty fan, then this may be the place for you.
Nojima Scoula Restaurant and Petting Zoo
This is an example of an old school converted into a restaurant.
Craft Circus
Great hang out spot to eat and watch the sunset.
