Sometimes we are so busy that we miss out on little gems around us. My wife introduced me to this awesome cafe recently. I was surprised that it was not very far away but I hadn't noticed it before.
One thing I'm sure of is that wives, mothers and their friends in Japan know all the great cafés to hang out.If I'm off from work and I occasionally visit a café, most of the patrons tend to be women having coffee or tea with their mother or friend(s).
I loved the decor, the food, the service and everything else about Kona's Coffee. I particularly liked the fact that I placed my order in English and the cashier responded in fluent native like way. For a moment I felt I was in a temporary bubble outside of Japan. I enjoyed my earl grey tea served with Kona's burger 🍔 fries and my fluffy pancake 🥞.
Rumor has it that Kona's Coffee is a very popular cafe. I can definitely see why that is the case with a selection of coffee and teas, the Hawaiian pancake, decor, delicious food and awesome staff. I can see myself eating here again in the not too distant future.
