Have you ever experienced a profound negative attitude or attribute like depression, anger, hatred, resentment, or sadness? Have you ever experienced an intense positive attitude of joy, hope, love, peace, fulfillment? Of course, you are human after all. We experience both positive and negative feelings at some point in our life. Going through these different type of experiences is normal. However, it is not healthy to remain in a pessimistic perspective for a prolonged period. This is no easy task especially for someone that experiences depression daily. I currently suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and it becomes increasingly difficult to conduct daily tasks that inspire or motivate me. I tend to find myself in a bitter mood quite often, and it becomes an everyday struggle to remain optimistic about life and the people that surround me. I would like to share with you the steps that I take every day to stay optimistic.

You must establish new healthy habits that lead to the behavior you are trying to practice.
