Becoming what you genuinely were intended to do can seem like a daunting task. Especially when you are working at a job that you are not fulfilled by, or going to school pursuing an education because your parents are forcing you to. Many of us have a particular pursuit of happiness that is unique to the individual person, what makes me happy and fulfilled may not necessarily make you happy or fulfilled.
Success should look different in every area of your life. Success is a fluid constant motion that changes on a daily basis. Success will look different throughout different parts of your life. Identifying those periods in your life is detrimental to developing your vision, personal identity, and brand. You must define the scope of your vision and the aspects of it.
Useful steps to develop your vision:
Write down what success is to you (money, fame, family, security, financial freedom, giving back, etc.)
Career path (are you working for your passion or for your bills?)
Positive Inspiration and Influence models
Consider each part of your life as a learning experience. Whether its personal, professional, formal study or general interests.
Congratulations on developing your vision! Now that you have a general picture of your vision you can now start implementing the necessary actions to use your vision. You must first understand that you will have to let go of things that you emotionally attached to for your vision to come to fruition. If you are concerned with the instant gratification and immediate result than you will end up losing in the long run. Life is a long marathon no sense in sprinting to end to death.

Define a clear idea of where you want to be in 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years from now.
Find you're why
Identify interim success
Create a timeline outline to further determine your long-term success in short increments (6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 2 weeks, and daily)
Constantly review outline to remain accountable.
Make your vision into your short attainable goals
Constantly seek opportunity and not barriers
Accept failure...its part of the process.
