With the introduction of PALnet.io I have a strange reminiscent feeling. One that has been elusive for some time now.
The reason I have renewed interest in actuality has nothing to do with the rise of Bitcoins fiat $USD prowess.
What is PAL to me? Well back in 2017 as a STEEM minnow I had to GRIND. I started with 150 Delegated STEEM and needed to work my way up. I exploited the system, enjoyed the self upvotes and bots. For the most part it was a GRIND. Commenting and posting like mad.
PAL on discord let you utilize a bot to help with FREE upvotes for minnows.. The bot is probably still around, but once you are done with the grind; you are done with the grind (bots included).
So I guess PAL is just reigniting my interest for perhaps nostalgic reasons. Maybe things will be different; or maybe it’s just because of a warm nostalgic feeling. A group that really tried to help minnows is only a force for good. I have no idea how or if PALnet will be ANY different than platforms such as steemit.
PALnet is a great SMT example, and it’s backed by STEEM currency.
Now let’s talk about STEEM.. STEEM is fun, STEEM is cheap, STEEM is fast. Let’s be honest, the way STEEM can be earned feels much like life. There is privilege, abuse, and charity. Whales are whales and good and bad is a mixed bag. At the end of the day if you can cash out something and meet interesting people (some will be complete scum) In the end it’s a very positive experience.
PAL at least has renewed something within me.
Is price ‘confidence’?
Steem sits at 0.41 cents USD. It was $8.00 / 0.17 cents at another point.
Is there growth? Does market cap create growth or even determine confidence?
Can PAL grow independent of STEEM?
Does a “foundation” determine something else’s
worth?
So many questions. I tried WEKU and other clones of the Steem blockchain; but PAL is not
a clone; it is utilization STEEM blockchain.
SMT?
Time will tell many things.. but for the now, I’ll just enjoy 😉
