My journey with HIVE so far really shows my commitment. As my stakes in TRIBES/COMMUNITIES rise; I'm more conscious about upvoting myself and even others. Forget that, I'll always upvote my post for the day just because it's a minnow habit. Dare I say it I am even downvoting when tags are abused. Have I truly become a HIVER? When I get HP these day's I don't even view it as 'money'. It's just my share in the blockchain. Sure as shrimp we upvote ourselves A LOT. It's kinda the only way to grow if you don't buy HIVE itself. Eventually with enough networking and commenting you can grow. You can see my progression. Upvoting almost every comment, posting 4 times a day. I'm now on HIVE for 4 YEARS! That's actually something for me to think about. It's become a part of my life!

Now I'm lucky to get out even one post a day. Just depends on how hungry you are. In all honesty one post a day is all you really need at a certain tier. Hive has created multiple faucets to grow you stake; and not just in one coin or token.

I am actually very impressed with HIVE's ability to stay functional and continue growing. Will HIVE moon? Well if Splinterlands has taught us anything, HIVE has a lot to offer with zero transaction fee's and 3 second confirmations.

So where do I go from here? Well in all honesty I'm just going to continue to build. Sure it's a great feeling when a token moon's but there's some real serious questions to be asked after that point!

As a crypto enthusiast (not a maximalist) do we go with the golden rule of converting much of your crypto into BITCOIN? Or do you continue to stake and grow alt-coins. Well like many of my blogs I speak about balance. Profit-taking, shifting portfolio's is always important to maximize your HODLing. Sure we all want to 'get out' when the timing is right, but I'm reminded of how half my stake was 'stuck' in HIVE. I did this purposefully because I still wanted to be vested in the chain. So I started to rebuild after taking some profits.

I didn't let my $14k account bother me when it dipped to just under $900. I continued to blog. During the bear market period I took a small hiatus for 6 months, but I got back into the game. Habits are hard to break. I was posting and making a lot more HIVE than what I make today. As you can see, as the price of HIVE rises, posts give less HIVE payouts. This is why we need to ignore the dollar signs next to our posts.

When I was making that 'coin' I was shoving it into tribes and projects that would generate me even more coin. I am very grateful dCITY has been doing well. I was able to become a BRO, gather 5000 LEO, and even have 5000 HP worth to shove into CUB. I regret nothing! Now I have moved into STEM token (bought 5000 at a high price) as it will become fuel to a new monkey game (APE). Even EXODE which seems to develop at a crawl seems to be making some traction. I was able to purchase up to 1000 HP worth of cards but to be honest it was a lot less 'money' at the time. Depends on how those NFT's fair.

Curation isn't amazing as my upvote doesn't pop out in-front of people's screens, but it's still nice to know that commenting and upvoting gives back to HIVE participants and even myself. Perhaps one day people will scream 'bear' voted on my post but it might take a few more years.

As you can see there is still a ton of development on this chain. Splinterlands and AXIE are surely creating even more exposure. Will Hive's current price remain high in a bear market? A better question is does it really matter? Bear markets are an accumulation period. Either way you are a winner. Missed the boat? LARGER REWARDS! Well isn't that a little strange.. now I'm not really caring about the price in terms of dollars. Alright sure I might be a little upset if it went to 1 cent.. but I find that unlikely. Seems our floor is 0.07-12 cents :

That's a real shift in my psychology! I guess that's crypto-growth mind-set! Have a Great Weekend FOLKS!
