Dear Amonet, I really related to your story. It’s similar to mine in more ways than one. I also had to leave behind a toxic family and educational environment, and I felt very alone. Even as a young girl, I thought about things that young people don’t usually think about—the meaning of life, violence, justice, or rather, injustice. But I was lucky enough to find my path at a very young age through books, art, and writing, and to defend that path against all odds. A huge hug from Andalusia.
