LA OTRA ORILLA
La poesía se sumerge
en los vastos misterios
de la vida, traspasa la frontera
entre lo conocido y lo desconocido.
Esas dudas que persisten,
esos velos ante lo que nos precede
y la noche definitiva
de la que no se regresa.
No sabemos de dónde llega
la imagen y ese ritmo
que nos envuelve y nos lanza
como buscadores de perlas
o tesoros, a perseguir
no sabemos bien qué
hacia no sabemos qué lugares.
Exploramos eso que viene
del silencio, de la noche
y se llena de luz
alumbrando el mundo,
Si son las musas quienes
nos inspiran,
no sabemos,
pero si ellas llegan a acompañarnos
que nos encuentren escribiendo.

Poetry immerses itself
into the vast mysteries
of life, it crosses the frontier
between the known and the unknown.
Those doubts that persist,
those veils before what precedes us
and the definitive night
from which there is no return.
We do not know where the image

like pearl or treasure hunters
