Back to Basic Ruleset, Battle in Champion League. Battle Mage Secrets Challenge
Greetings to all Splinterlands players! this is my entry for BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! this is a popular event held by Splinterlands every week. The theme today is about the ruleset Back to Basic. Monsters lose all abilities. Summoner effects are still active (Yodin Zaku, Mylor, etc).
Back to Basics: In Summoners we trust
When skills are not available there is no other choice but to depend absolutely on summoners, in fact the battlefield becomes a movie type war where the power of the summoner makes the difference between the battalions, and in splinterlands it is practically the same. The Back to Basics ruleset leaves all monsters without abilities, it's as simple as that, and when we are presented with this rule there are many ways to take advantage of it, the most common use is magic since there is no need to apply much logic, whoever shoots faster and endures more will win, it's as simple as that, plus there are not many options really, however when this rule is combined with another the game scenario changes considerably.

As you know the season is over and a new season has started, during this season we also saw some recent changes like the change in the capture rate system for chest points, and also a new #promo card like VERUZ, and luckily I managed to get my hands on some of these cards.
BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge with Back to Basics
Splinterlands has changed its Share your battle challenge to BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge. So now battle focus change from monsters to ruleset and this week's ruleset is Back to Basics. In this ruleset monsters lose all abilities. As in this battle all Monsters not get any extra advantage from summoner or any other extra ability so this is very fair battle for me. I used "Baakjira" as tank card having 12 health with void / slow and strengthen ability so this card is very strong on tank position but in this battle his health is a strong point as cards abilities are not working. In this battle I used all magic ability cards with high health. This battle was low mana 26 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was water vs earth summoners.

In this season that practically just ended, I made a great effort to fight and obtain more rewards applying the strategy that I explained in this publication, however, I have been left with a bad taste in my mouth, but, not for anything bad, just that my fortune this time was not so good haha, however, it is something that I must explain in the course of this publication, although, not everything was bad, there are highlights that were very worthwhile in season 107, since, this has been the season in which I have generated more chests in the "Diamond" league and I am very happy about that.
Splinterlands Hidden Mechanics (Part 1)
Splinterlands is one of the more complicated card games I played. From the deptrhs of making a strong lineup to nuances of mechanics, it's a difficult game to pick up especially for people without background on card games.
This is the first of many parts of Splinterlands Tips that I wish I knew before battling, during my novice/bronze days, and after my first month of playing Splinterlands.
I hope this would help you pick up this amazing game faster and easier so you can focus on enjoyuing the deck building part rather than understanding why things happened when they shouldn't.
