Oh cool! It may not remain blue or be quite as blue when it blooms again. They do some weird things to get fancy colors.

Anyhow, Yes.. no excessive water. Like some instructions note, the equivalent of two ice cubes per week or you can actually place two ice cubes in the pot every week.

They also do not like direct sunlight or drastic changes in temperature. I try to keep mine away from drafty areas like heat or air vents. They do not like dry air, but oh well.. our house is pretty dry, and they do okay in my home.

Every so often, about once every year, we should clean off dead air roots and re-pot them. with fresh bark chips if needed.

Everything else I am still learning myself. I would have liked to take a small class on their care. Maybe I can find one online, but YouTube has been great at providing Orchid info.
