The Cover Photo Says It All ..

I suppose by just looking at the cover photo one could guess what went down this weekend. You were right if you guess that it had something to do with Molly and some new silver brought by the Easter Bunny. I sum it up like this ..

It was a Silver Stackers kind of Easter! The best kind, right?

Easter Morning Arrived ..

And it appeared the Easter Bunny came at some point during the night and dropped off a couple of small handmade baskets. (Well actually my mom made the baskets and my dad probably filled it with chocolate, but I like the Easter Bunny story better. Lol.) Either way it came together, it was exciting. My brother was down with his wife and two little girls, so we had an egg hunt for them and then were all surprised with these little baskets filled with goodies.

Molly didn’t get a Easter basket quite like this, but I will write a second post about Molly‘s Easter maybe tomorrow. (Don't worry, she was hooked up as well). The interesting thing about these tiny baskets was this big large colorful egg planted right in the middle. A plastic egg of course, so that’s where it got exciting. My eyes were drawn to it and I immediately wanted to know what was inside the egg! Could’ve been nothing, or something unpleasant like slime. But it wasn’t! It was something much nicer!

Little Velvet Bags!

And we all know what lies inside a little velvet bag, don’t we? OK so there could be a lot of things in there, but I know what comes in little velvet bags. I’ve been conditioned to know what’s inside those little bags. My parents have been conditioning me for years. If you’ve read some of my other blog posts you might’ve caught on that my parents are also Silver Stackers. They always get great pleasure in watching us enjoy opening little bits of silver here and there. It’s very kind of them, very generous, and very appreciated!

So.. with all that being said if you guessed silver then you guess correctly!

A day or so afterwards we were talking about the silver again and agreeing that some of the best silver is the silver that is closest to spot price. These coins are not the best collectors coins but they are the best stacking coins because they are one of the cheapest forms of stacking… buying silver as close to spot price as possible. They aren’t the ugliest coins either. In fact the longer you look at them the more you appreciate their simplicity and shininess.

I couldn’t very well leave Molly out of the equation, could I?

Nope! I had to torment her a little bit because she just looked interested this time. She wanted to know what was rustling around in that basket and what I was pulling out of the little velvet bag. So I showed her…

Oh boy! It looks like she may be interested this time. I was waiting for this day to arrive. The day Molly became really interested in Silver Stacking and shiny things.

Wrong again ..

I got the head turn.

She was expecting chocolate, but sadly she can not have it.

The good news is that eventually she laid down and I placed the coins near her. She didn’t move or run away this time! We are making progress my friends and progress is a good thing.

I did end up taking those coins away and placing them back in their bags for the trip back home. It had to be done. Sorry Molly.
