Cold Rainy Day's
I titled this oil painting 'Let It Rain Down'. Have I shared this one with you all before? Quite possibly I suppose. It's been almost three years here on the Hive chain and It's getting harder and harder scrolling back through the list of posts. Either way, It's cold out today and the cold chilly rain is falling from the sky, ruining my Saturday morning mood.
The painting came to mind being the weather sucks today. I thought if I created a post about the chilly, cold rains of early December, then they would move along and let my friend Sunshine out to warm my mood. I originally painted this piece with inspirational help from days like today. Our many trip to NYC, some of them in the cold rain or snow, also played a big inspirational role. There is no better friend than an umbrella on one of these days. Once you get wet, it's hard to get warmed back up without a hot bath or shower.
The plan today was to make our annual Christmas tree farm tree run, but unless this dreary wetness goes away, that is not looking too promising. I did just check the weather and there is a chance this will move away and up North to dump a bunch of snow along the coast. I'm not ready for the white stuff, so maybe the chilly rain is not all that bad to deal with.
Let's hope the sun comes out, dries things up enough so that we can take our trip for a Christmas Tree. Does anyone have any interesting Saturday plans? Is anyone else going for the Christmas Tree today?

Art itself is so influential that it can tell stories, show feelings, and express passion or fury. Art exists in addition to language; expression of sensations and thoughts, revealing a way of thinking too subtle and delicate for words.
For me art requires love, honesty and perseverance. In return, it reveals some personal, non-analyzable, and creative untamed passion. For the public, art with its magnificent beauty, improves mood and health and builds better human beings and communities. It engages the intellect, softens the heart, strengthens the soul and frees the spirit.
