Another month passed by almost unnoticed. April was the month when we started the next round of our community development campaign. Surprisingly for the team, this one was an explosion compared to the rounds before. At the moment we have more than 15.000+ applications and our community managers will have hard time verifying owners and conformity with program conditions.
As well we have received dozens of applications for our bounty program for social media influencers with 100 ETH reward pool. We will start choosing people to cooperate with later in May. Until then we are still accepting applications at [email protected].
Below is the progress made by our dev team.
First of all in this progress report we want to bring good news to those of you who own this smart piece of hardware which is called Ledger Nano S. You will be able to safely sign your transactions on BCShop.io with your Ledger device just like you do it while working with any other Ethereum services.
Also please note that on BCShop.io you can access your wallet with any of these methods: TREZOR device, Metamask, keystore file or even a raw private key.
All the work related to smart contract has been finished and the most important of them are now being audited by SmartDec. They have already performed the audit of our token pool contracts. While the core functionality was tested in the process of development we feel that independent smart contract audit is absolutely necessary for a serious distributed application.
As you might know, BCShop.io announced bounty campaign for the token holders. To perform it as smooth as can be, we are preparing various scripts. The first one, for example, is for making holders balances snapshot on specific date (or block number, to be exact).
Another one scans the list of those who fulfilled all the requirements and generates mass token transfer transactions. All the campaign should be automated to avoid manual transaction execution as much as possible.
BCShop.io project aims to reinvent the way digital commerce and payments work today. Focusing on digital goods and services area project’s goal is to enhance it with fast-growing opportunities blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies have to offer.
