Liv in the sun
It's been a while since I last shot with Liv, and I'd forgotten how much fun her and her mum are. There was an awful lot of chatting and and awful lot of laughter and some photos taken.

The sun was awful today, really harsh and some really unpleasant shadows. A bit of fill in flash remedied that thankfully. I really enjoy shooting on location, but I find it a lot less straightforward than shooting in a studio. I guess sometimes studio work can look a little "sterile", but generally setting up lights in the studio is almost second nature having done it for so long. Location shooting can be so much more of a challenge, lighting can change quickly, there could be other people (or during this shoot dogs) that you don't want in the shot, even a little breeze can affect the shot. But its all part of the challenge, and can make the shoot a bit more interesting.

We found a spot where the light was a bit more uniform, no harsh shadows no bright light burning down, just nice even tones. Easy for me to shoot, so just down to Liv to do her thing.
A bit of attitude
Although Liv brought a number of outfits and accessories, we pretty much stuck to one look, swapping coat on/coat off just to mix things up a little. I always find a shoot goes so much better when a model is chatty, it means that she (or he) is more relaxed and you generally tend to get better images. Liv (and her chaperone mum, Janet) are very chatty, and very funny too. So a nice relaxed, fun shoot.
About me:
I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography. You can find more of my work on the links below.
