For your question, I will start by saying the first time I join the Blockchain (steem). My main aim was to earn. I saw the Blockchain as a second income. But ask I stayed long here I understood that I need to learn first.
Okay to give straight answer;

• first to learn
: since I have joined hive/steem, I have taken my time to study about crypto currency and now I am sure that I can avoid be scammed even though there's many things to know
• Second earn
: my primary aim was to earn.
• relate with people, share my ideas and get inspired by other's.

Well, recently the mindset of making money and earning through the Blockchain is down. Now seeing earning as a reward for the Passion I have for the Blockchain. now Just here to gain wide knowledge and view the world from my comfort zone with passion
