BATTLE Token Now Lives Exclusively on the Hive Blockchain!

That means you can trade BATTLE on the Hive-Engine Exchange. In addition to this great news we've got a few other updates that we want to share with the Gaming communities on Hive.

Using the #battle tag and earning BATTLE Tokens

Now that BATTLE has been moved to the Hive blockchain you can earn BATTLE Tokens by tagging #battle on your gaming content!

How does it work? You can post from any front end like www.battlegames.io, hive.blog, or www.peakd.com for example. You can also post into any #topic or from any community, all you have to do is add the #battle tag in there amongst your tags.

All gaming content that uses the #battle tag will appear on www.battlegames.io and is eligible to earn BATTLE tokens. If you choose to stake BATTLE then your vote on any content using the #battle tag will reward the content creator with BATTLE tokens.

Bottom line is start tagging your gaming content with the #battle tag!

Manual curation efforts on the Hive blockchain

Just take a look at our Curation Rewards chart for April (courtesy of @abh12345), we're on the come up big time, rewarding gamers for their content every day!

Our mission is to reach 10,000 HP! This is largely due to the awesome folks that support the Hive gaming community through a delegation. Thank you! As you can see we're putting this HIVE Power to work.

How to get your content curated by @battlegames

There's a number of ways to get your content curated:

Tag #battle on your gaming content. Using Peakd.com I can easily search the #battle topic which will display all posts that used the #battle tag.
Tag #gaming on your content. I'm sure you're already doing this! But I search the #gaming topic everyday for content to upvote.
Drop into our Discord server and share a post in our post promotion channel. Almost daily I'll scan through for content to up smash.

Delegation Rewards Pool initiative

Flash back to mid April we launched a new program to reward delegators with a percentage of @battlegames account earnings. This is like a co-op, delegate and you are entitled to a share of company earnings!

The first 2 weeks was a pilot period in which we saw the @battlegames account earn apx 100 HIVE. 25% of these earnings was distributed to program participants 👊 and you can read about it here.

Promoting HIVE projects to the outside world

Publish0x - In late April we launched a blog on the www.publish0x.com platform where we are sharing news and updates about games being built on the Hive blockchain, and in the process promoting HIVE! This is a real win win initiative.

These posts are receiving hundreds of views, drawing attention to the Hive blockchain, and our games.

YouTube - In addition to recently launching the publish0x blog I will be launching a YouTube channel this week to feature blockchain game play, highlights, and reviews. Again the HIVE blockchain and our games will be front and centre to the outside world.

I've always wanted to promote blockchain gaming through other channels it was just a matter of building a foundation first before we start to scale up. The support we have received from the Hive gaming community is allowing us to do this now!

Game rental accounts

Keep an eye out! In the very near future we'll be offing both free to play and rental account starting with a game in development here on the HIVE blockchain. The rental accounts will be available using BATTLE Tokens.

We have a unique opportunity to add value to our BATTLE Token, and support blockchain gaming so we're going to do just that, more to come shortly...

BATTLE Raffle for Digital Gaming Assets

Also coming down the pipe will be BATTLE Raffles, 1 BATTLE Token = 1 Ticket.

I'll aim to pilot this initiative in the month of May. You can expect to see a Weekly post highlighting a small package of digital gaming assets. It could be any combination of digital collectible cards, crafting materials, NFT's, in-game currencies, you name it! Again more to come, so stay tuned...
