I am sorry I have not been around that much here lately. I have been busy and a lot going on here. The good news is we have got the small garden all tilled and 99% of the roots out of the ground. It was a lot of digging and pulling and sweating to get where we are with it today. I know how many people felt in the early years of our country trying to break new ground for a garden and crops. I have all 6 of the Big Beefsteak Tomatoes planted and watered in as of about an hour ago. The first thing literally in the ground on our property. Tomorrow I will be planting the 6 Roma Tomato plant I have and I will also be working on the final little bit of the plumbing and trying to get it done, it will take a couple of days as I am going back and forth between the garden and the small house. Sorry I do not have any pictures right now as it has been dark thirty when we are done and I am just tired and really hurting. Do not fret I will get you some hopefully tomorrow and show you, it is not a lot but it is something.
Now for the bad news, we have been having minivan issues all week and it seems to be getting worse. I had a dead battery a couple days ago and I jumped it right off and had no problems. Went out to go to town and pick up some stuff and it was dead again, not just a quick jump but had to use the cables instead of the jump box as it had to charge for about 30 minutes to get it to start. I first time it was dead I knew we had left an interior light on so that was the cause the first time. This last time I have no idea why it was dead, I made sure everything was off. Had a friend look at it and said I had an electrical problem somewhere and it would cost way to much for him to track it down, as it might take him 8 hours or 2 hours, but he said he looked for a little bit and did not find any simple causes. Not sure what we are going to do right now, just hope we stay lucky because we do not have the cash to get another one right now. So we will have to make it last as long as possible.
I am tired and hurting so it is off to get a shower and get to bed. Got to get up and get some stuff done tomorrow. I will try to get some pictures and post them tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great night/day, whatever it is in your neck of the woods. ALWAYS FORWARD!
