I feel truly as a phoenix risen from the year 2016. I have evolved into a more conscious layer of myself as a woman in the practice of medicine, owning an integrative healthcare centre, raising my child as the best mama I can be and making the most of a beautiful marriage to a handsome, strong man with a beautiful soul... all at the same time. C'est fun ! :)
I have been asked by people to share more details to my vaguely mentioned, “new” business we have going on. To tell you this, you need to know more about me.
In my life, I feel a calling to support people to find purpose that is interdependent on their gifts and creativity. I feel called to bring Power to the People and this is what inspires me. When you have belief, you are ruled by this moral compass and I want to enhance this experience of belief to support your truth and potential. Basically, I want to be your best friend – that person who will tell you exactly what they see….no sugar coating.
I believe that reality can be blended with hope , interdependent on everything as it is.
In my practice of medicine, I find myself repeating the same things often and so it is time for me to bring my version of public and societal discussion about the inner and outer worlds that we are inheriting from our parents. I am one of the ones of this world who is taking ownership of my wisdom…I’m an elder in training ;)
I am passionate about the highly dynamic state that each of our body’s is trying to achieve – this phenomenon called homeostasis. It is our body’s constant search for balance that is essentially a conversation your cells are having. It is the communication of needs that can be a puzzle to hear and feel. It is happening all of the time, up until such time that the body is physically overwhelmed by death.
As a doctor, I am a teacher about the language of the body…the science of this homeostatic pursuit. I am 100% committed to supporting people at EVERY LEVEL of their existence – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual/belief oriented. I am often so busy supporting the physical medicine component with my patients, I feel called to start creating a library of thoughts, truths and facts that is all in the mind of your potential higher self – whatever that is for you and your beliefs, there is hope. I can incorporate pharmaceuticals (with the exception of narcotics and benzodiazepines, thankfully because they are highly addictive) and I choose to find the bridge, the balance, the best of both worlds for my patients. And when I can't do this alone at this level, I refer out. Referrals are an essential part of a good medical system and so I am but a part of your TEAM.
No person is an island and neither are we, when we are honest with our needs.
This intention is to bring the medicine, the science, and the art of healing to discussion. The things you want to know when you suffer or get sick. I treat each patient in a pursuit to create the optimum of informed choice. These choices have the potential to change your mind and change your world.
I am the business and medical side of our new project. I have been self-employed since the dawn of my student loan debt after 8 years of university. I know what it takes to bring success in my own way. And I am infinitely blessed to have a best friend, Fia, who is also in love with creativity and has a passion for photography and imagery. So I plan to be a talking head while Fia makes me more interesting ;)
I have hidden behind books and closed doors as a doctor for 15 years….in turning 40 years of age, I realized I am old enough now to be taken seriously. I have put in the time to gain some mastery in my practice as a physician. I do not say that I am perfect or always right, and I am the first to admit when I don’t know enough to give an informed opinion. But I have an extremely strong intuition for the mind and the body’s direction. In particular, I specialize in the addicted mind. We all have a connection that is inclusive of our individual, unique experiences…we all share emotions and we all have intentions with our choices – whether they be conscious or subconscious. I recognize and call out intention when I feel welcome and called to share. I’m good at showing you another way. Whether you accept it, this is up to you and so I realize my community is one of WILLINGNESS. If you are unwilling to be corrected or challenged to feel your emotions, I can only help you in the limited way of your own impossibilities. But with a willing mind and the skill of emotional intelligence (which I plan to teach and discuss in abundance), you can learn with me and delve into both the darker and lighter sides of life.
