You have a plan to go to a specific place, a known place, a place you have researched and dreamed of going to for sometime now. On the way to the planed place you get flat tire. Someone pulls over to give you a hand, you strike up a conversation, and learn that you like this person.
Had your plan gone off without a problem you would have missed meeting this person. Of course that is not to say you would not have met someone else just as interesting if your plan did go as planed.
Where is the chance randomness of a well executed plan?
