Since the split from Steem, a couple of things have changed for me. I lost my interest in Steem Monsters, so sold out about 4 months before the Sun fiasco. Also on Steem I was mostly powering everything up. I think I experimented on Steem-Engine a little bit but I really do not remember for sure.

With the split and creation of Hive Block Chain a few things did change for me. My interest became more expanded. I no longer powered every thing up. I learned a bit about Hive-Engine tokens, invested some Hive over to the site so I could "play around" over there and learn crypto trading. (I think I have learned quite a lot this last month and a half actually).

I used the HBD and non-powered up rewards to invest in H-E and in Ionomy, (so I could get a feel for non-Hive type token trading). I learned a bit there as well.

If things 5 or 10 X for Hive, I will likely continue to do the same thing. I will stay with 50/50 reward option, and continue to use the other funds for playing with/investing with. Hive is not a 100% all in or all out, and the evergreen life of a post is what the person did with the rewards. Did they 100% it, 50/50, power it all down and trade elsewhere? By keeping the 50/50 option a pot evergreen status stays for a really really long time.
