There is risk either way, things may go up and things may go down. For the last 30 years I keep waiting for the price of gasoline, electricity, even insurance to go back down to a reasonable amount. It hasn't, it won't, and that makes the things might go down pretty dang iffy. Inflation does not stop, Crypto may be a very real and significant hedge against it the price hikes of a standard economy. That is what owning a house does also, you know what your house payment is now, you know what your house payment will be in five years. Do people who rent know what their rent will be in five years?
I think it is a smart move to let it ride myself, retirement income may stay the same but the purchasing power of that retirement account is always going down, not up. A reason for me to keep going with Hive, to try to branch out in the Hive-engine market, and a reason to let it ride and hope for the best because at some point my retirement income will need to be supplemented.
