Finance has never been one of my strong suits. I managed to buy and sell my homes I lived in with out loss, but that is/was pretty the extent of my "Financial success". I don't know how many times I tried to make a budget, how many ledger books for budgets I bought, and still I never really learned.

Over the last two years or so, {because of crypto, (steem/hive)}, I have learned to use and make spreadsheets to track some of my progress. A little late but still progress. I just could not grasp the concept of ledger books and budgets while working, math and numbers were just not part of my life then. I should have made it part of life, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I still do not have budgeting down very well, but crypto wise I am getting better at that. I have my goals for the tokens I want, and I need to budget the purchases against all the token goals and account progress.

Not easy and a slow learning process when you are already retired, but as mentioned progress is being made.
