I think we are getting there slowly. It takes time for old bad habits to die. One nice thing is that there seems to be a real growth in real comments from people. People commenting because they liked what they saw or read, not just commenting for votes or attention.

It is good to see people trying to have fun on Hive, with post and comments and the various contest.
