There are still a lot of people that do not want to work and think a life is owed to them. Employers are learning a lot of lessons from this past 18 months, those that adapt well will survive, those that do not will not. My favorite tire place has just ended their mandatory mask rule, but it was to little and to late for the older employees that had worked there for a long length of time. They either quit or retired under the mandate. Now the service from them has gone down hill and I may be having my tires changed out and purchased somewhere else.

Two other place of business I used to frequent lost me as a customer early on due to the mask mandates. It has been over 16 months now since I shopped there and will likely not shop in those locations again.

It takes much more than a paycheck to keep good employees anymore.
