It was the bag that held the bakers dozen pastries, like the carton that held the dozen eggs, like the night sky that held the 12 zodiac signs, like Jesus who held the 12 disciples together, I always saw it as a fun number.

I still cling to the pathways, still hang close by friends and companions even in my death. I have to know how things turn out, will they survive. Will the 7 coins lead to something wondrous or will they be led once more into the breach to be shot out again at some random destination chosen by a fickle god. I must admit I am curious.
