One reason I suppose for the vaccine, I myself will likely still bypass it. To many get out of jail free cards for the pharmaceutical companies. To many changes on how often a shot or booster is going to be needed, to many stories of the current vaccine needing to be updated as the virus mutates. Kind of like getting a flu shot every year, they never know what the variant is going to be until after the flu shows up and then it is oops we guessed wrong.

It still seems to me we just changed the name from flu to covid. Vaccinated people do not need to worry, so they should not worry that I have not been vaccinated.
