Kenai Public Boat Launch Wetlands Viewing Area
It is spring, and soon the geese and swans and sandhill cranes will be here, we don't want to miss the arrival, so we often stop by the wetlands viewing platform to see if they have arrived yet. Not yet. Late Friday afternoon we stopped by, the sky was interesting cloud wise and the view of the mountains to the south was pretty nice.
The big picture view, well as wide as the zoom lens would allow:
I have a panoramic shot of all the mountains posted somewhere from a few months back.
Here is a digital zoom taken from the same image above
Here is a zoomed in view using the lens zoom.
I still need to work a bit on my editing, color seems to be a bit off especially in the last picture.
#mountainmonday is a tag that was brought to us by @keithboone, to see more cool mountains, his blog would be a good place to start.
Here is a bonus picture, since it was Friday, and I already had my #featheredfriday post done here are a couple of pigeons. Pretty much the only birds we saw when we were at the viewing platform.
You may have seen them on my other page, I used them as part of my learning experience and post them as a #photoplay post.
