Did my title get you to click? Did you just need to take a peak and see the Bunny? Or did you click for the Feathered Friend? Perhaps it was the word Bluff that got you? Wondering if there is even a picture of a feathered friend or maybe just maybe a Bunny. But what kind of a bunny? Well I guess it is time for the reveal.
First in the title "Feathered Friends", I only have the one picture of a feathered friend to share. This is a mature Alaskan Sand Hill Crane. You can tell it is a mature bird by the shiny red head. (Okay I am not that smart, I did not know that little fact until I looked on google).
Not taken today but on Thursday morning from the upstairs window. We get a little bit of wildlife passing through and playing in our yard.
And to finish out the post the Bluff part of the post title. The Kenai Bluff as viewed from the cannery area where we watch the birds. I wish it would have come out more sharp, but still I thought I would share the view with you.
Well on our way back from the zoo drive/dump, it was still a little cloudy, but things were brightening up as we headed back toward town. We drove out to one of the pingo lake/ponds to see if there any nice cloud reflections to capture, but alas it was a little breezy and no calm waters, so we struck out on that part of the picture taking.
Well after some shopping and quick empty stop at the Kenai Wetlands viewing area, (no birds close enough for pictures), we decide to go ahead and get a picnic meal at our favorite restaurant, and head down to the cannery for the meal and bird watching.
So all in all it was a pretty nice Sunday, i hope you all had a fun Sunday where you are.
Do you ever wish you could just write about what you want, share what you want to share? Maybe the Hive Block Chain could fit your style.
