OpenVPN Connect is the original open source program on Android devices and allows you to manage any virtual private network. PrivateTunnel is a OpenVPN protocol service only. Connection via other connection protocols, such as PPTP, L2TP/IPsec, or SSTP will not lead to a successful connection. OpenVPN is not only the most advanced security features, but also compatible with third-party software and supports many platforms.We will use the personal version of OpenVPN, Privatetunnel for free.
The location we chose in Android App, the IP address, to the server.connecting to the ovpn file. The .ovpn file must be corrected without using a different TXT editor program. Edit Config tab added to openvpn
Create a config file for each client. The config file can be exactly the same for each client except for the two lines that contain the file path of the .key and .crt files:
Server config file:
server.ovpn (right-click, save, and open in txt editor)
You will need to change the IP addresses of the DNS servers in the server.
Config files will route all traffic from the client computers through the server’s internet connection. This will enable secure web browsing from anywhere, as well as access to any network resource on the home network. The .ovpn file is very important for openvpn. We use different TXT editor to edit this file. with the Edit Config tab added to openvpn, this problem will be eliminated. The server, IP address and admin / password can be more easily edited. Application is more useful and professional
