ADVENTURE TO A THRIFT SHOP OR "UKAY-UKAY"
Naturally, we need to have clothes and shoes to wear as it is also part of the basic needs of an individual. Personally, I am into fashion and stuffs like clothes and shoes. Yet, I don't have much budget for me to spend lavishly and just buy things that I want. It takes time for me to buy new stuffs because I still need to save enough money. If you are asking, what brands do I like the most? Well, there is no certain brand that I am really into. I just focus on the quality and where should I wear that certain piece of clothes or shoes or in short- if it is still wearable and can be use.
Back then, I usually spent around 20-100 U.S. dollars (roughly around Php 1-5K) for a piece of shoes. It is the common price of a brand new slash original shoes specifically for a Nike,Vans, Adidas, Sperry, New Balance, PUMA, Skechers, Fila and etc. It kinda expensive for me because I am still a student and not earning much in my part time jobs. So, every 3-5years I only wear 2-3 pair of shoes only. Not much for a person who is into fashion because you really need to have a bunch of choices for you to fit-in the best items. It's not that I am a materialistic person but I always adore people who can confidently wear a good shoes because for me it reflects who you are.
Right now, I stop to surf and check for a new set of shoes in the Zalora application and any other shopping apps and shifted in visiting various thrift shop in our locality. Yes, we can't compare a brand new and 2nd hand items but I guess it's worth the price.
Before, my 20-100bucks is just for 1 pair of shoes but right now I can have 5-10 pairs of shoes. What a great cheat!
As for the:
•Quality ✔️
•Appearance (looks like a brand new) ✔️
•Price ✔️
•Usage/If it is still wearable ✔️
•Brand (you can have any brand you want) ✔️
No doubt that we can really save money in a thrift shop.
