It's hard to separate a single book that you find very close to your heart. Many literary scientists do not present the English version as one of the best works. Essentially, it should be seen as a philosophical book that affects many lives around the world.
It's a fascinating story of a shepherd who dares to pursue his dream despite all the consequences / challenges he must face on his journey. The idea that I've often repeated in the book and I always try to live is as follows:

I think that John Steinbeck is one of the most unique and dismissive giants of American literature. In many of his dark humorous works, he was making a mocking process with his human nature for his characters. The 'Grapes of Wrath' is slightly different from the other works and seemed to be written with great passion.
This book, which dates back to the 1940s, plays an extreme level of human emotion and mental struggles. It was an important event in American history and the author presented the period before the readers by exhibiting the struggles and aspirations of a family and its members.
