Now spring and new fruits will appear on the trees much later. For the start of this challenge, I will use photographs that I took in late autumn in Moldova.

It was a foggy morning. The forest is shrouded in mist. Yellow is the main color of autumn, the yellowed leaves began to fall.

In this yellow kingdom I found a bright red islet. This island was hawthorn.

Its fruits ripen in late autumn, after the first frost. Just then, the sugar content in hawthorn fruit increases.

Often I see hawthorn planted for wildly, but I am interested in its wild form. It is there, in the wild, that it becomes a real decoration of the surrounding landscape.

Hawthorn fruit is widely known as a raw material for pharmacology. Many medications that regulate the activity of the cardiovascular system contain an extract of these fruits.

Once I tried hawthorn jam, now, I don’t remember the taste, but I’ll say that hawthorn hasn’t been widely used in cooking.

For me personally, these fruits are an excellent object for photographs, especially when a drop of dew runs over them.

Сейчас весна и новые плоды появятся на деревьях значительно позже. Для старта этого вызова я буду использовать фотоснимки, которые сделал поздней осенью в Молдове.

Это было туманное утро. Лес окутан туманом. Желтый цвет, это основной цвет осени, пожелтевшие листья начали опадать.

В этом желтом царстве я обнаружил ярко-красный островок. Этим островом оказался боярышник.

Его плоды созревают поздней осенью, после первых морозов. Именно тогда, увеличивается содержание сахаров в плоде боярышника.

Часто я вижу боярышник, который высаживают в дикоративных целях, но, меня интересует его дикая форма. Именно там, в дикой природе он становится настоящим украшением окружающего ландшафта.

Плоды боярышника широко известны, как сырьё для фармакологии. Многие медицинские препараты, которые регулируют деятельность сердечно-сосудистой системы, содержат экстракт этих плодов.

Один раз я пробовал варенье из боярышника, сейчас, я вкуса уже не помню, но, скажу, что широкого применения в кулинарии боярышник не получил.

Лично для меня, эти плоды отличный объект для фотоснимков, особенно, когда по ним бежит капля росы.
