Greetings, friends!
I am very glad that you took the time to visit our blog!
Yesterday, I thought I was drawing. To me came the words spoken by Jesus Christ, that the camel, it is much easier to pass through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
These words can be viewed from different angles. More precisely, they can be applied to different situations.
One of the options is, if you look at the problem through the small hole of the needle's eye, this problem becomes much smaller.
I tried to translate my thoughts into a drawing.
Using a simple ballpoint pen, I drew this drawing on a small piece of A5 paper.
When Jesus Christ spoke of a camel, he spoke of things that the Jews understood. Within the walls of Jerusalem there were several gates. There was the main gate, which closed in the evening. Also, there was a gate of secondary importance, they were very narrow and low. If you were late, it was very difficult to squeeze a loaded camel through this gate.
These, secondary gates, were called - the Eye of the Needle.
These words have another deep meaning. A camel is a man with a lot of problems, sins.
It is easier for a simple sinner to go to heaven than a person who is rich and safe, he does not need to seek God, to repent of sins, he does not see them.
A camel, or a sinner, he will climb, crawl and jump over obstacles by any means, but he will be willing to touch the edge of God's clothing.
God is the one who is ready to solve our problems if, we, give him these problems. Then, we can look at these problems as something small, which is easy to remove with the click of a finger.
Night and thunderstorm,
tornadoes and a volcanic eruption, these are mine, our problems that can fit on a small piece of paper.
Have a great day!
