If you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you're sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. The more you grow in Christ by attending church, reading the Bible, and praying the more the Holy Spirit will direct you when it's necessary. The more you grow as a Christian the more useful you can be to God.
