In Jeremiah 29:11 God is talking to Israel. They've been conquered by the Babylonians. They're going to Babylon as slaves. They will be there for 70 years. Most of them will die there. Yet God gives them hope as a nation.

There was one time that I lost hope but all was not lost. I still had my faith.
