I really hate the "God's Word" translation since it's so inaccurate. Let's look at it from the NIV: Psalm 66: 18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19 but God

When you can create the reality that you are a billionaire then let me know and I'll listen.

God was talking to the Jews. To the Christian today, God never abandons us. But God often allows his people to experience persecution. We know that we will not be spared trouble but we know that no matter

John 16:13 refers to the disciples. It should be obvious that he hasn't made believers know what's to come. The general will of God is revealed in the Bible. The specific will of God for you in a given

It's more than a lifestyle. It's who you are as a Christian. Are you mature? Are you slow to anger? Do you love people? Do you treat people well? There's no point in leaving a Christian tract in the restaurant

John never forgot who he was or what his purpose was. John 1:27-30 New International Version (NIV) 27 He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” 28 This all

You need to have discernment. You should be able to spot it if the pastor is really a wolf in sheep's clothing. Such men typically want too much money and they spend it on themselves. They gather vulnerable

No, that verse isn't about evangelism. I'm sure there's no Bible commentary in existence that says that it is. The verses are about spiritual warfare.

What law will go forth from Jerusalem? The Old Testament law? No, we're under a new covenant now.

Legalism is more than trying to be justified by observing the Jewish law. It's a way of people believing that they need to observe certain man made laws. The Jehovah's Witnesses are a perfect example.

Jesus doesn't heal people anymore. It's unbiblical to say that he does.

You could honestly say that God requires a contract. If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior then God will grant us eternal life.
