RE: VERSE OF THE DAY - 12nd of June 2019
This is a perfect example of why the 500 year old King James shouldn't be used anymore. The word they use for "charity" is LOVE. Here it is in an accurate form people can actually understand:

RE: SCRIPTURE THOUGHT OF THE DAY - June 15, 2019
(Psalms 46:10 NIV) "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Yes, God can do anything but miracles are few and far between.

RE: OBEDIENCE AND MIRACLES.
Yes, Jesus performed miracles to show that he was the Son of God. Jesus doesn't perform miracles today. I'm 60. I've never seen or experienced a miracle. Nor do I know anyone who has. We have the Bible.

RE: HE IS INVOLVED
I don't think God typically leads people on a day to day basis. Maybe if you're a missionary in a foreign country and you depend on God to bring people to you who are willing to hear the gospel then God

Jesus has to be your Lord too or he's not your savior. (Matthew 7:21-23 NIV) "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father

RE: THE IMPORTANCE OF ASKING WITH FAITH
Asking with faith isn't a guarantee that God will do what you want. In this case, God chose to make a righteous woman childless until she was willing to give her child to God. That child became Samuel.

RE: Experiencing Covenant Possibilities
No, prayer won't always tip the balance in your favor. God has his own will. We should use prayer to try to get into God's will. Not to get him to bless what we want to do. There is no current ministry

RE: #JesusSavesβοΈπ
It should be obvious that "salvation" in the Old Testament is much different than salvation in the New Testament. There's only salvation in accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

I really don't like the quote by Chambers. It sounds as though we can get what we want from God and that's just not true.

RE: THE WORD OF GOD HAS CONFIRMED IT
You're misinterpreting scripture. You need to look at the verses on either side of it in order to understand it. Look at this: Isaiah 7:6-7 New International Version (NIV) 6 βLet us invade Judah; let us

It's harmful when it involves abuse, control, shaming, guilt, or taking advantage of someone sexually or financially or some other way. Or if one person is trying to isolate the other person or turn them

It's ludicrous to even consider drinking urine of any kind. It makes no sense. It has no health benefits despite the Quran says.

RE: Flaminghelpers Challenge - The Ten Commandments
I would expect the Catholic Church to omit the commandment about not bowing down to idols given that Catholics worship statues and pray to thousands of "saints".
