The prayer of the Earth

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

Mountains are like open churches and summits are like tower bells.
Mountains are the expression of the spirituality of the Earth, they are the prayer of the Earth.

You can watch how similar are an 'human' church and a summit...
Tower bell is a finger pointing the sky, saying to us: your root is up there, beyond the material world.

Here another kind of tower bell: Mont Emilius summit (Aosta valley, Italy), in a windy morning.

Finally, a church near Aosta city:

I love this painting by Dino Buzzati where a mountain reproduces Duomo of Milan, with its rocky spiers emulating the pillar of that famous church.
