This is my entry for #monomad challenge by 
Gullfoss means "Golden Falls" in icelandic, and it is one of the three most visited attractions of Iceland (Golden Circle).
The place is very crowded in summer, so I would love to visit it also in winter, with no people and the beauty of the ice all around water.
Here the Hvítá river canyon, from which water arrives and falls inside two big steps:

There is a path where tourists can walk, under a soft 'rain' created by waterfall and wind:
I loved this effect (taking care of the camera). Humanity in Iceland seems smaller: Iceland is the kingdom of nature, with other rules, very different from civilization. In this shoot I tried to express the melting of human beings in something much greater, wilder and strong than our small bodies, a melting into the great 'body' of nature.

And here the crowded panoramic terrace. As photographer, I can say that the best vision is not where most of people are: photography learns to me to change every time point of view, because of the more beautiful place from which take a picture is to search and search again...
... like this man, faraway from people; he was looking for a personal point of view, and he was writing this unique feeling on his personal book.
We can go in the same place, and we can took or feel very different things, because of nature gives us not only a panorama, but the key to watch the same landscape in many different views.
