This is my entry for #monomad challenge by monochromes@monochromes

This is Becca d'Epicoun, a wild mountain between Italy and Swisse, in Valpelline, Alps.

Some days ago my friend alpine guide has said to me that this glacier is completely changed: more rocks, less ice. A different place now.
I watch these images and I know there is a 'world' getting lost, and photography has also the purpose to preserve memories, not only personal and good memories, but also a collective time the risks to be forgotten.

The glacier was long to pass. On the way back, a thunderstorm came, and I watched a lighting some hundreds meters from me, I was scared.

I hope these landscapes will like you, and I hope you too can walk in these or other similar places, to get in touch with the wilderness.

Here my friends Alessandro and Yvonne, died by accident under an avalanche.
You will be always in my heart.
