Hello,
today I will show pictures about the walk from O Cebreiro (a village with prehistoric origin, located at 1300 meters high) to Lugo towards Cebreiro mountain pass and Alto de San Roque.
We are in Galicia region, rich of forests because of the weather rainy and fresh, not dry as other places of camino, like mesetas.

At the pass, we find Santa María do Cebreiro Sanctuary (mid-9th century), a wonderful example of high mountain pre-Romanesque architecture, a very ols structure:

After O Cebreiro pass, we arrive at Alto de San Roque, with its famous pilgrim statue:

Inside, the Virgen de los Ojos Grandes, from the 15th century. This beautiful statue simbolyzes the Mercy.

A walk around the city from its long walls path. There were a lot of building on construction and old typical houses. I like most the game of shadows on the building walls.
