Hey, beauties! 馃専 I had one of those juicy phone calls with my sister the other day, and I just had to share. 馃摓
So, she sent me a text that morning, asking if I could chat on my lunch break. That鈥檚 usually her signal that something鈥檚 about to get real鈥攕he picks the time when the kids are out of the way so we can have an uninterrupted conversation. 馃檶
Turns out, she鈥檚 been feeling a bit trapped lately. She鈥檚 been working long hours on OnlyFans to support her hubby, who decided to quit his job and take a backseat. 馃槖 While she鈥檚 been holding down the fort, he鈥檚 been living easy, and it鈥檚 been wearing on her, both physically and emotionally.
During our call, she let me in on her frustrations and how it鈥檚 affecting her self-worth. I could practically hear the exhaustion in her voice. 馃様 And you know me鈥擨 had to step in with some sisterly wisdom.
I told her it鈥檚 time for a change. She needs to step away from OnlyFans and reconsider her relationship. No one should have to be the sole provider while someone else takes it easy, and in particular I think it's really wrong for him to push her into something like this, that's so out of character for her. 馃洃
And here鈥檚 a little secret: If it weren鈥檛 for my two amazing kiddos, I would鈥檝e almost certainly found myself in a similar situation. With my 8-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son keeping me on my toes, they鈥檝e been a huge influence on my choices. I was on the edge of joining OnlyFans myself before they came along, but motherhood made me rethink things (OF started in 2016, right about the same time as I was carrying my daughter). 馃懚馃懅 ...unlike my sister, I was always the type who reveled in that kind of attention - so although it's ironic that she wound up being the one exploiting her body for cash, it's painful for me to see because I don't think it's something she ever would have done on her own.
I suggested she explore Hive. It could be the perfect space for her to find her voice and rebuild her self-worth in a more empowering way. 馃専 Hive is full of amazing people and opportunities to grow and connect, and I think it could help her find a new path that makes her feel valued. I helped her start an account (she jokingly chose the name @badgirl.barbie, knowing that she is the more reserved of the two of us) - but so far I think all she's done is setup her basic profile. We are two very different people with very different styles and interests, but I really do hope to see her on here, even if we aren't bumping into each other every day!
Sometimes, we all need a little push to find our way. I鈥檓 hopeful that this new direction will help her rediscover her strength and happiness. Change can be daunting, but it often leads to something amazing. 馃挅
Here鈥檚 to new beginnings and finding what truly makes us shine. Sending all the love and positive vibes to anyone needing a boost! 馃拫
Xoxo,
