Oil pastel is so interesting to work with, you can do many things and it is the closest thing to oil painting. Those textures and intense colors fascinate me. It's a very good combination to use the graphite and also remove oil pastel in some places with a punch or something like that.
Of course I like to do strange and uncomfortable portraits, like this one.
